I Wasn’t Intending to Join this Group

In 2017 I was asked to attend a BNI meeting by a good friend of mine, who I have tons of respect for. I was not intending to even consider joining a networking group as such, but went more for him! Well…obviously I joined and have been quite amazed at the group we have. I consider myself to be a pretty good networker and have been in several groups over the years, BNI included! Never have I been involved with such a group. We specialize in business owners! At worst, key people within their companies. Therefore we tend to pass out quite a bit of work to each other and have lots of fun in doing so! Our numbers tell the truth. Not to mention each of using our services to help each other in our daily lives and personal transactions.

Meeting every Friday at 7 AM is something that I look forward to! We take new membership opportunities very seriously, as to make sure they fit the culture we have in place. We don’t want to be the biggest BNI out there, we just want to be recognized as the one you want to be a part of! Of all my years of networking, I have never gained more business or passed out more business than I have with this group. I consider our members as partners that I can share with my clients and serve all of their needs! This allows me to better serve those that I cherish most, my clients!

More Than Money

I joined The Corporate Edge BNI over 7 years ago. It has been a great experience. People join business networking groups, like BNI, hoping to make more money. Well it has been that and a lot more. I have made more than money by joining this group. I have made great friends and learned from some excellent business people as well.

The Corporate Edge BNI is built by a group of individuals that enjoy what they do, know how to get things done, and have fun while they do it. Whenever we have guests come to our meetings they all say the same thing. The meetings are very professional, but FUN! We pass referrals and help each other grow our businesses but we have a blast doing it. If you’re ready to grow your business and have fun doing it with a great group of people come visit us. One of the biggest parts of winning in life is showing up. If you’re on a sports team and you don’t show up to a game you loose. If you’re a student and you have a test and you don’t show up for it you fail. If you have a meeting with a client to close a deal and you don’t show up you’re out of luck. Showing up gives you a chance to not loose, not fail and not run out of luck. So 50% of your success is just showing up. And lets face it, showing up is easy compared to training, studying or preparing a presentation.

So in life remember – “You Must Be Present to Win!”.
